RANT #1: OMFG,: Or, Santorum and the Separation

WARNING, This post is my opinion, and some people may find it offensive. If you're one of those people, just look for posts not labeled 'RANT'. I promise those will be safe.

The fact that anyone even considers that Santorum would make a possible candidate scares the beejeebus out of me.
The man is the poster child for the separation of Church and State.
Don't get me wrong, I don't care if you believe in Jeebus, Mohammed, Moses, Krishna, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster. But if every one of your public addresses concerns what your particular version of deity would find offensive in a post Bronze Age world you might consider an alternate career path.
Try something where that's more appropriate...like ohh... priesthood?
I'm tired of the loud, the obnoxious, and the bigoted being the only ones with a say in our political system.
Don't tell me what your god doesn't like, and certainly don't try to legislate your own version of morality.

New dress

So this is way tighter to my body than the things I normally make/wear.
But it's the same design as the shirts, just extended down.
I MAY add some material to loosen it up at the hip and make the skirt fuller.

New Plan! (part..2? 3? who knows!)

So, because I can't do things the way I wanted, I am going to do them a DIFFERENT way!
Never let it be said that I am not flexible!

I will post the manual to that other page, but I will post my ramblings/rantings HERE.
In order to avoid offense, I will Clearly label those Postings as RANTS.

When we returned from our recent trip, a friend picked us up at the airport and gave us a lift home.
As a sort of thank you, I made some hooded shirt type things for him and his wife.

Still dissappointed

but I'll get over it!
What I wanted to do is to have three distinct pages where I could add nee content.
Apparently that doesn't work on blogger.
You can have  one live page and any number of static pages.

Maybe there's a different way to do it, but I haven't found it yet.

I am working on a Pfaff 1222 at the moment, and a Bernina 930, and a few others.
The Pfaff has the IDT thing... very interesting.

I think my 1030 has sort of spoiled me though.

I want the flexibility of being able to control EVERYTHING. I like the Infinite needle positioning, stitch length and width.

I've got a couple more projects lined up, and then I will probably start the grey dress...
this is going to be tough!

So then

It looks like this site is unable to do what I was hoping, having more than one 'live' page...
I'm going to try to figure out another way to do it though!
If anyone knows, feel free to drop me a note!

Testing one two

It can't possibly be this simple..

Annnnnnd it wasn't.

So,
If you look up at the top you'll now see three thingies:
Home- which will contain my sewing machine discoveries
Ranting and Raving- which is pretty much going to be guaranteed to offend those who are offend-able
Machine Maint.- My guide to machine maintaining will go here.

Of course all of this presupposes my ability to figure out how to use the separate parts of this site....

New dress design

in progress!
It's going to be a bit different than my normal...

Back again!

Hi all!
(If there is an all, it's so hard to tell these days!)
I am back, and I've got some great ideas for going forward with this blog.

I've made an effort to keep this space free of any sort of political/religious/controversial stuff, and I realized that in doing so I've been self editing in a non-useful way. So I am going to be setting up different sections of this thing, where I can ramble on about the things I tend to ramble on about!

Also, I am going to be setting up a section JUST for my machine maintenance guide thingy.
Yay!
