newest aquisition, and considerations....

I picked up a Singer 222k...
it's basically a Featherweight that converts to free arm..
But I need to decide between selling or keeping it!
If I sell it, it'll go for 1200 or so.
If I keep it, I don't have to spend 1200 or so to get one when I want one.

Made in Bridgeport, CT in the old Wheeler&Wilson factory,
this machine hemmorhaged cash for Singer.
It cost so much to produce, and the knobs and levers were so scary, that the company couldn't sell it for enough money to cover their costs. Plus the average seamstress found it a bit intimidating!(As did I until I took it apart to see what all the knobs and levers did!)
